VividGamer.com is looking for Writers, Video Editors for reviews ...

VividGamer.com is an online video game publication looking for writers who are passionate about video games and who want to learn more about the industry. We?ve been around for more than a year posting previews, news, reviews and editorials, and we are looking for more people to join the website. We offering positions for writers, video editors, and community managers.These positions are telecommuting, which allow candidates to work from home.

Vivid Gamer is a website started by the everyday gaming enthusiast, and we are looking for those of you out there who always wanted to be a part of a gaming website, but never got the chance.

Editorial positions will be responsible for researching and writing news stories, as well as writing reviews and editorials. They will also assist other staff members with their articles. A journalism background is not required. If you are a first-time writer, do not hesitate to apply, we will teach you what you need to succeed as a writer. Writers will learn how to publish articles, how to use WordPress, and how to write about video games (news, reviews and editorials).

Video-editing positions will assist others on the staff with editing and recording gameplay videos. This includes use of programs such as Windows Movie Maker. Experience with video editing isn?t required. Video editors will learn how to edit and record gameplay videos, which includes podcasts and preview videos.

Community positions will work with the community managers in promoting the website through Facebook, Twitter, and other social networks. They will also help with contests and other events. You learn about video-game specific social networks and will use those networks to interact with the community.

This is a great opportunity to improve your writing, video editing, and social networking skills. Vivid Gamer is a great place to get your start in video game journalism, and to have your work seen by many people. Because this is a telecommuting position, we will work around your schedule; however, there will be times where you will have a specific schedule to work on content for the website (reviews, editorials etc).
